Answer:

Nigeria culture is very diverse and multi ethnic but the three major cultures in Nigeria are Ibo, Yoruba and Hausa. The culture region in Nigeria can be divided into six.

The problem that might arise in combining the group of people includes Language barrier, religion, ethnic differences etc

The problem that might result in splitting the group includes land and resource allocation

Explanation:

Nigeria has numerous cultural group but the major cultural group plays a major role on how the the culture regions were found. The south east consist majorly of the Ibo's . South west consist majorly of the Yoruba while the North is dominantly the Hausa and Fulani clans. The North central consist of the Tiv's and Igala's. The south south consist of Ijaws, Ikwere's , Calabar's, Efik and Benin. The North east and North west consist of the Hausa, fulani's, jos etc.

Language barrier differences could alter peaceful co existent when you combine this group.

Religion plays a vital role in Nigeria colony. It contributes to how Nigerians think. The north is dominantly Muslims while the south is dominantly Christians.Currently, the jihadist group in the north are fighting for sharia law to be enshrine in Nigerian constitution . Combining this group with differences in religion can be really damaging.

The major problem that may arise in splitting the group is land and resource allocation. Each ethnic regions will form a united front to fight for lands and resource if various groups are divided.
