Moral obligation is the term that represents the concept that we, as human beings, have obligations to our environment, to us and to the people around us. In other words, this term refers to how we are directly related to the ability to do good and to do what is right within society.

Moral obligation is a concept that must be taken seriously throughout our lives. This is because it is our obligation to take care of what we are inserted in and that does not only concern the environment in which we live, but also refers to our responsibility to our society, taking care of each other, so that society can evolve in a healthy way.

We can see how important it is to honor our moral obligation, right now in the age in which we live. We know that with the proliferation of coranavirus, we assume a responsibility to each other, making sure that we are not infected so that we do not infect any other person, especially those who show greater weakness in relation to the disease.

Therefore, we must not only affirm that as Americans, we have a moral obligation to engage responsibly with each other, but we must encourage this concept and demand from those, who for some reason, do not believe that it is necessary.

What literary device is most prominent in this excerpt from Moore's poem, "Silence"?
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

Connotation.

Explanation:

"Silence" poem is written by Marianne Moore. The poet speaks about the advice that the speaker's father has bestowed upon him/her in childhood. The advice given by the father was to be silent.

The literary device used in this line is connotation.

Connotation is the literary device which is used by the writer to suggest different meaning of the word than its literal meaning.

The word silence means willfully not expressing what one feels but restraint means a forceful suppression by which one is kept from speaking anything.

So, in the conclusive paragraph of the poem, the speaker is trying to say that her father is not teaching her to be silent, i.e., willfully not speaking but restraining her from speaking, meaning that even if she wants to speak she should keep silent.

So, the correct answer is connotation.

Which one of the following is a run-on sentence?
satela [25.4K]
The answer is definitely D, because it contains two independent clauses that are joined together without a comma or conjunction. (An independent clause just means a chunk of language that has both a subject and a verb and could be a complete sentence on its own.)

Given csc ⁡ A = 58 7 cscA= 7 58   and that angle A A is in Quadrant I, find the exact value of cos ⁡ A cosA in simplest radica
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

3315 / 58√3315

Explanation:

From the question, you said that

Cosec A = 58 / 7

Cosec = 1 / sin and

Sin = opp / hyp, this means that

Cosec = hyp / opp with hypotenuse being 58 and opposite angle being 7

Using Pythagoras theorem, we know that

adj² = hyp² - opp²

adj² = 58² - 7²

adj² = 3364 - 49

adj² = 3315

adj = √3315

cos A = √3315 / 58, On rationalising the denominator, we have

√3315 / 58 * √3315 / √3315 =

3315 / 58√3315
