Which excerpt from the passage best allows the reader to infer that the Māori people felt cared for by the earth
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

"were warmly received".

Explanation:

"The Maori: Genealogies and Origins in New Zealand" narrate the mythical belief of how the Maori people came to be. These tribe in New Zealand and their inception is revealed and how they came to be from one of the strongest mythical creature, Tû.

As given in the excerpt, the Maori people believed Rangi and Papa to be their parents who gave birth to them and get them started.
