Answer:

Hi

An atlas is a collection of maps of various types that contain information about the physical geography, socio-economic, religious and political situation of a specific territory. They present maps of the Earth or a region of the Earth. The atlases have been presented in the form of books. In addition to presenting geographical features and political boundaries, they generally present geopolitical, social, religious and economic statistics. They also have information about the map and the places on it.

The straight line distance between Sacramento and Las Vegas is approximately 373 miles, while the straight line distance between Cairo and Istanbul is approximately 746 miles.

wind energy, form of solar energy that is produced by the movement of air relative to Earth's surface. This form of energy is generated by the uneven heating of Earth's surface by the Sun and is modified by Earth's rotation and surface topography.

Explain how plate tectonics have changed Earth’s surface over time. Include the role of plate tectonics in the creation of land
Rudiy27

Explanation:

The Earth is comprised of many plates that float on the hot magma in the mantle layer. They are constantly moving but its so slow we can't feel it. A long time ago, all the land on Earth was connected in one big continent named Pangaea. As the plates have moved the land has separated forming the continents.

When plates come together they cause friction between them. This causes the plates to push up forming a mountain. This was how the Himalayan mountains were formed.
