D is the correct answer. the comma is needed after the first part of the sentence because "although extreme sports ... control" is a dependent clause; it isn't a full thought and you have to connect it to the rest of the sentence lest it be a fragment. "creativity," "skill," and "courage" require commas because they're a series of items and you have to separate them for clarity. "as some might say" is between commas because it is something like an aside--you're specifying that only SOME might deem it foolish.
