What was a significant event for this battle? Burgoyne's march through New York The battle signaled the end of the Revolutionary

War. Colonists cut down trees to slow Burgoyne's progress to Saratoga where he lost his entire army. Washington was defeated twice by a large British army. Even though it was the capital city, it did not mean the end of the war. It provided the British with comfortable quarters. Washington surprised the Hessians on Christmas Eve while they were celebrating.

Why were women paid only about half as much as men for the same jobs in the early 1900’s
yanalaym [24]

Answer: In the early 20th century, most women in the United States did not work outside the home, and those who did were primarily young and unmarried. In that era, just 20 percent of all women were “gainful workers,” as the Census Bureau then categorized labor force participation outside the home, and only 5 percent of those married were categorized as such. Of course, these statistics somewhat understate the contributions of married women to the economy beyond housekeeping and child rearing, since women’s work in the home often included work in family businesses and the home production of goods, such as agricultural products, for sale. Also, the aggregate statistics obscure the differential experience of women by race. African American women were about twice as likely to participate in the labor force as were white women at the time, largely because they were more likely to remain in the labor force after marriage.

One political consequence of religious upheaval in the period 1450 to 1750
4vir4ik [10]

Answer:

The thirty-year war was the main consequence of the religious upheaval seen among 1450-1750.

Explanation:

The war of three years was established thanks to the religious conflict between Protestants and Catholics in Rome. This conflict that started being regional, gradually involved different European countries, reaching the point of involving the whole of Europe. The war lasted for years and in addition it ceased to have a religious nature to have a political nature, through the involvement of governments and the stabilization of alienations and persecutions, causing a great political polarization.

The war ended only after the Munster treaty, a peace treaty.
