What was a significant event for this battle? Burgoyne's march through New York The battle signaled the end of the Revolutionary

War. Colonists cut down trees to slow Burgoyne's progress to Saratoga where he lost his entire army. Washington was defeated twice by a large British army. Even though it was the capital city, it did not mean the end of the war. It provided the British with comfortable quarters. After Jesus' ascension, the disciples gathered together to wait as Jesus had commanded.
o-na [289]
True. Ascension was the 40th day after Jesus resurrected from the dead. After completing his God-given mission, he gave the task to his disciples to continue spreading the word to people.

When Jesus ascended the disciples went to Jerusalem and prayed for ten days as Jesus had commanded. During this event the Holy Spirit came to visit the disciples and made them speak in different tongues. This outpouring of the power of the Holy Spirit is known as the Pentecost.

Is Libel supported by freedom of speech?
EleoNora [17]

If it is written down, it's called "libel" whereas if it's spoken, it's called "slander." Defamation law attempts to balance the freedom of speech and open exchange of ideas without giving someone permission to run around spreading lies about another that may harm his or her reputation, ability to earn a living, etc.

The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand might have been the trigger of WWI but the gunpowder to ignite the conflict was ________
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

d. the military alliances.

Explanation:

The failure of Serbia and Austrio-Hungary to be able to solve their problems without war was what led to the eventual declaration of war on Serbia by Austrio-Hungary. Normally, it would have been an ordinary war, but Serbia was allied to Russia, who was in turn allied too France and Britain, causing a domino effect in which each country successively declared war in an effort to show their support to their allies. This in turn turned what would have been a territorial war into a global war.
