What was a significant event for this battle? Burgoyne's march through New York The battle signaled the end of the Revolutionary

War. Colonists cut down trees to slow Burgoyne's progress to Saratoga where he lost his entire army. Washington was defeated twice by a large British army. Even though it was the capital city, it did not mean the end of the war. It provided the British with comfortable quarters. How did wwii alter the american homefront?
Vlad1618 [11]
The biggest alter to the American homefront was that women actually started working and helping with war. Before WWII women just stayed at the house and took care of their kids. It's the biggest effect now because women still work today, and they still can get into the Military today. A little side effect from it is that there were major blackouts in cities, due to the war.
