Changes in manufacturing, transportation and communication in the lives of Americans had the effect of innovation and invention, as well as the consolidation of the industrial economy.

In the manufacture there were great advances since modern machinery was created, thus facilitating the work of the Americans as well as the increase of the manpower. In this period, the textile industry was the most developed.

In terms of transport, the invention of the steamboat marked a new era in this field, which brought multiple benefits such as the transport of goods and people at low cost.

The communication had its contribution in the life of the Americans with the arrival of the telegraph, which was patented by Saquen Morse and that was the beginning for a new era full of advances in communication.
