Sine and cosine are cofunctions in trigonometry. When you have two angles that are complements (and sum to 90 degrees), the sine of that angle is the cosine of its complement.  (Look, for example, at a 30-60-90 triangle  - - the sine of 30 degrees is the cosine of 60 degrees)

Or, as a formula, sin x° = cos (90 - x)° and cos x° = sin (90 - x)°.

We are told that the cosine of 90° is 0. Let's use our cofunction definiton.

cos (90°) = sin (90 - 90)°         definition of cofunction

cos 90° = sin 0°

Since cos 90° = 0 then cos 90° = sin 0° = 0

Thus, sin(0°) = 0

What is the slope of the line passing thru the points (-6,-5) (4,4)
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

slope = \frac{9}{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the slope m using the slope formula

m = ( y₂ - y₁ ) / ( x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 6, - 5) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (4, 4)

m= \frac{4+5}{4+6} = \frac{9}{10}

Simplifies to y=2x-12. slope intercept form is y=MX+b where m is slope and b is intercept do slope 4 and y intercept is -12

Please answer math questionS correctly for BRAINY
agasfer [191]
Hello there,

1st attachment:

So in order to find this answer. We need to know that in a CUBE there is L*W*H. Your answer would be A.) 1125 because when we do 1125 3 times (L*W*H). . . It give's us 3375.

2nd attachment:

Your answer would be D.) 5,832m³.

My reason I say this is because when you do 18 square root to 3. It will give you 5,832m³

3rd attachment:

Your correct answer would be 80mm³. So this is what I did. C wouldn't be the wrong answer because that answer is in "inches" and we want to find the answer in "mm³" So when we do 2*2*2. We get 8cm. We need to find the answer in "mm³" "8cm" converted in "mm³" would equal 80mm³.

Hope this helps.
