Answer:

Considering the example of Japan, it can be justified that both the primary and the secondary impacts of tectonic hazard cause the most damage.

Explanation:

  • Any tectonic activity of considerable magnitude generates tremors and causes earthquakes and related phenomenons.
  • Japan has consistently been subject to the secondary impacts of such tectonic hazards like earthquakes and tsunamis.
  • The areas close to the coasts of Japan are tectonically active making Japan vulnerable to its aftermaths.
  • Moreover, Japan also has some dormant volcanoes which are a result of tectonic activity.

Two problems caused by a low population growth rate
Dmitriy789 [7]

Hi!

1.) A low population growth rate can cause a rise in the dependency ratio.

When the population growth is decreasing, there are fewer and fewer children leading to more and more elderly as the workforce-age people are growing older. This puts pressure on the people in the workforce because they have to care for all of these elderly people.

2.) A low population growth rate can decrease the number of schools.

If there are fewer children being born, there will likely be fewer schools because there isn't as much of a demand for schooling as there was before.

Question 25 1 pts All map projections are most accurate at the _ O great circle route O standard parallel (i.e. tangent points)
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

Prime Meridian

Explanation:

  • The Prime meridian is the line that divided the earth into two halves the west and the east as all map and projection still date have some sort of loss of data and are thus not accurately mapping the earth the presence of prime meridian in the most of the maps is in its accurate place.
  • Thus prime meridian represents the zone of the divide from where the maps are projected to be drawn keeping the polar and equatorial hemisphere in mind.
  • As most of the cylindrical, conical and azimuthal type projections have a direct bearing on the areas, distance, and direction but mostly are oriented with respect to the west and east divides that affect the time zones on earth.
