If a 0. 2-ml blood sample with a paco2 of 40 mm hg diffuses across a membrane into the e2 electrode containing 0. 3 ml of soluti
kogti [31]

If a 0. 2-ml blood sample with a paco2 of 40 mm hg diffuses across a membrane into the e2 electrode containing 0. 3 ml of solution, the final paco2 in the blood sample will be less than 16 mm Hg.

What is paco2?

The partial pressure of carbon dioxide is specifically evaluates the carbon dioxide level in blood.

It is a determined by using  a popular test called arterial blood gases (ABG) test.

It also also evaluates the partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2), bicarbonate (HCO3), and pH level of blood.

This test is performed on patients of lung diseases, neuromuscular diseases and also useful for getting a clear picture of the body's metabolic and respiratory conditions.

Hence the answer is less than 16 mm Hg.

Answer:

The Bicuspid valve or Mitral valve found between the left atrium and left ventricle.

Explanation:

  • A bicuspid valve or Mitral valve is an atrioventricular valve. It is one of the valves of the heart's four valves.
  • It regulates the blood flow from the left atrium (upper left chamber) to the left ventricle (lower left chamber).
  • It mainly prevents the backflow of blood from the left ventricle to the left atrium.

Which statement is an example of a scientific theory?
sergiy2304 [10]

The correct answer is option B, that is, all living organisms are composed of one or more cells, which came from pre-existing cells.

A scientific theory refers to a well-substantiated illustration of some characteristic of the natural world, on the basis of a number of facts, which have been repeatedly confirmed via the experiment and observation. Such fact-supported theories are not hypotheses, however, are reliable explanations of the real world.

During the late 1830s, the zoologist Schwann and the botanist Schleiden were examining tissues and postulated the unified cell theory. According to the unified cell theory, all the living things comprises of one or more cells, the cell is the fundamental unit of life, and the new cells originate from the pre-existing cells.

Anon25 [30]

Answer:

Photons

Explanation:

Photons are the only source of energy for photosynthesis. Photons are absorbed by chlorophyll molecules within Photosystems I and II (and antennae complexes), generating higher-energy ‘excited’ states of the photosystems which can carry out energetically costly chemical reactions.
