It was said in the press that President Trump told the President of Mexico that Mexico was to pay for the wall.
When President Nieto refused, Trump told Nieto that he would increase the importation fee from Mexico to the U.S. by 25%... Which would cost Mexico EVEN MORE than Trump demanded for the wall, practically forcing Nieto to agree to pay for the wall.

Illegal immigration is such a controversial topic because, simply put, of taxes. When the immigrants come to the U.S. illegally, the healthcare system covers them anyway.
The taxpayers' money goes TO the healthcare system, meaning that the taxpayers are "supporting" entire families, when the can hardly support their own, which causes out-rage and controversy.

The US is going to raise taxes on things they buy from here. Therefore, they will be paying for the wall that way, i'm assuming. This is what they talked about on the news. :) They will either have to boycott, or buy.

2. People are crazy. Honestly. Stereotypes are the main reason we are so divided on the topic of immigration. Some people think they come here to "R-a  p-e" and "steal" from us, when really most people come here for a better life. It's not easy where they come from.. and to be honest, it's really easy for us. I can understand why they all want to come here. I just don't understand why everyone labels them, and throws those stereotypes in the immigrants faces. We came here as immigrants. We took over and created the US. It's so hypocritical.
