olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer: Tina runs her consultancy business from her home. Working from home allows her to set her own schedule and take time off at her convenience so that she can be with her family. The fact that Tina gets more time with her family can be categorized as flexibility reward.

Explanation:

Flexible reward schemes are formalised systems that allow employees to vary their pay and/or benefits package and/or any other item in the work in order to satisfy their personal requirements. They are not the same as voluntary benefit schemes where employees pay for extra benefits. In the case of Tina what it has changed is her schedule and this change benefits her and the company where she works because a happy employee is more productive.

Pinker is essentially arguing that all humans are influenced by both nature and nurture. We are born with some aspects and we learn others through socialization.

I agree with the theory. I think that influences by both nature (DNA, genes) and nurture ( learning through socialization), gives people a little bit of both. I find it too hard to believe that as soon as a child is born, nature takes all the control. Socialization also provides a variety of stimulus to encourage/discourage behavior, beliefs, and values.
