A free verse poem has no set meter

<u>Free Verse is called to that kind of Poem which if free from any kind of the Limitations and also do not have any kind of set pattern with respect to rhythm and do not rhymes with fixed forms.</u> Poems under free verse do not contain any kind of rhyming schemes and they also do not tend to follow any kind of rhythmic schemes or rhythmic rules but poems under free verse still provide artistic expression.  

In free verse poems, It is up to the artist to mold the poem in any form he wants and give shape to the poem according to his want.   However, Free Verse also allows the poets to use alliteration; cadences in order to get the effects that they consider are suitable for the poem or the piece of a poem. <u>Poems under Free Verse have no regular meter or rhythm and these poems do not follow proper rhythmic scheme and do not follow any set of rules. </u>
