Answer:

number of teeth = 60 teeth

center to center distance = 5 in

Explanation:

Given data

diametral pitch p = 8

no of teeth pinion n = 20

speed s = 1200 rev /min

gear speed Sg= 400 rev/min

to find out

number of teeth in gear and distance

solution

we will find here number of teeth in gear by formula that is

number of teeth = p×dg    ............1

dg = s/sg × dp

and dp = 20/8 = 2.5

so

dg = s/sg × dp

dg = 1200/ 400 × 2.5

dg = 7.5

so from equation 1

number of teeth = p×dg

number of teeth = 8 × 7.5

number of teeth = 60 teeth

and

center to center distance will be calculate by formula

center to center distance  = ( dp + dg ) / 2

center to center distance = ( 2.5 + 7.5 ) / 2

center to center distance = 5 in

Levart [38]

Answer:

B.Her actions are inconsistent with the advice being given to her clients and this must be disclosed

Explanation:

A registered investment adviser often recommends real estate limited partnership investments to her wealthy clients. The RIA's personal financial statement and income are consistent with those of her wealthy clients, yet she never buys limited partnership units for her personal account. Which statement is TRUE

A real estate limited partnership (RELP) is a group of investors who pool their financial resources to invest in property purchasing, development, or leasing. Under its limited partnership status, This form of partnership  has a general partner who bears full liability and limited partners who are predispose  only up to the amount they contribute

The registered investment adviser does not practice what she teaches. She might just be in the profession for the money. She might also understand the risk associated with the real estate limited partnership investments and hence  would want to be risk averse herself. she should let her clients know the nitty gritty of the partnership and put a disclaimer across to them

Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

$40,000

Explanation:

The accounting procedure involved in the above is that one picks the lower between the actual interest incurred and the interest computed on the weighted average amount of accumulated expenditures for PPE.

The actual interest incurred on specific construction debt and other borrowings

= $50,000 + $20,000

= $70,000

Since the interest computed on the weighted average amount of accumulated expenditure for the building is $40,000 , the lower between the actual interest incurred and interest on weighted average amount of accumulated expenditure is $40,000, hence will be the capitalized amount.
