To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:

1- To solve the logarithm expression 2 log x = log 64, you must apply the following properties:

alogx=logx^{a}

logx-logy=log(x/y)

a^{log(a)x}=x

2-Keeping this on mind, you have:

log x^{2}-log 64=0\\  log(x^{2} /64)=0\\ 10^{log(x^{2} /64)} =10^{0} \\ x^{2} /64=1

3. Now, solve for x:

x=\sqrt{64}\\ x=8, x=-8

4. If you susbtitute x=-8 into the expression shown in the problem, you will see that it is invalid.

Therefore. the answer is: x=8.

Algebra. Find the values of the variable
aleksklad [387]

You are looking at right angles in the problem. Right angles are 90 degrees.

So set up the problem to solve for X using:

90=4x+12

90-12=4x

78=4x

39/2 or 19.5 = x

Which number line shows the solution set for |m| = 4
Margaret [11]

Answer:

Last choice that shows points on +4 and -4 is the correct graph.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given equation |m|=4. Now we need to find out which of the given number lines shows the corret solution set for |m|=4.

We know that |x|=a can be broken into two parts as:

x=+a and x=-a

Same way we can break |m|=4 into two parts as:

m=+4 and m=-4

Hence last choice that shows points on +4 and -4 is the correct graph.

What are the x coordinates of the local maximum and local minimum of sin(x in the interval [0, 2π?
Dafna1 [17]
I am assuming you meant y=sin(x) from 0 to 2pi? Remember that the maximum and minimum points on the sine graph will occur 1/4 and 3/4 through the cycle, or period and the zeros occur at the beginning, middle and end. So you want to find the distance 1/4 of the way to 2pi and 3/4 of the way to 2pi.
With this information, you can easily calculate your answer:)

Lena spent $39 on fruit at the grocery store. She spent a total of $60 at the store. What percentage of the total did she spend
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

The answer is 65%

Step-by-step explanation: Divide 60 by 39 and multiply by 100. So it will look like 39/60=0.65*100=65%. I hope this helps. :)
