“Self-Reliance” is an influential piece of writing by Ralph Waldo Emerson which inspires one to believe in one self and not have any self-doubt. Author asks to follow one’s own convictions and beliefs. Each one of us is unique.

In the essay “Nature”, the author explains how humans are dependent on nature for their existence. According to him nature helps a person grow spiritually and be disciplined in life. According to him, in the past, humans had a great bond with God and nature and they understood the universe.
