Answer:

Kino want to marry his wife in a church, buy a rifle, and send Coyotito to a good school. He also wants to buy nice clothes for his family. He also wants to buy a blue sailor suit for coyotito.

After the doctor leaves, Kino wraps the pearl in a rag and digs a hole in the dirt floor where he conceals the pearl. When the doctor returns, he gives Coyotito water with ammonia and tells Kino that the baby will get well now. Kino tells the doctor that he will pay him once he has sold his pearl.

Declaring it more of a museum curiosity than a market commodity, the dealer makes an offhand bid of one thousand pesos. Kino reacts angrily to this lowball offer and insists that the pearl is worth fifty times that much.

Why is world building important for futuristic and fantasy novels, and how
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

I think this is probably something you should answer on your own, since it's not multiple choice.

Explanation:

I'm not an expert, but my vague explanation is that world building is important because it might shape how the character acts. The author's work in that area makes the story more realistic and relatable, most likely. But I haven't been taught the lesson, so I'm probably not accurate.

Tia is planning a sailing party for her friends. The boat rental is $150 plus an additional $15 per person. Tia has saved up $40
Iteru [2.4K]
16 people. 400 minus the 150 for the boat and you have $250 left then you dive 250 by 15 to see how many people you can bring and it equals up. To 16.66 people and you can't have half a person so you round it to 16 people
