The product that will introduce AC to the market was the Alternate Current Induction Motor. This device would be later presented to the American Institute of Electrical Engineers in May 1888 and subsequently patented.

The introduction of the AC Motor disrupted the whole electrical industry and played path to the creation of numerous inventions that would come afterward, particularly in the field of electronics. As such products require to operate under AC.
