Answer:

Long-term memory

Explanation:

There are two common types of memory - Long-term and short-term.

In short-term memory, information are stored just for a very short time before they are eventually discarded or transferred to the long-term memory. It is sometimes called working memory. For example, short-time memory can be used to remember that a particular event is going to be by 12pm today. After the event, the information might either be discarded or pushed to the long-term memory.

In long-term memory, information are stored for a very long term, almost permanently. For example, long-term memory enables you to remember an event that has taken place in the past. In the case of Rasheed, he has so much learned the multiplication tables in such a way that information on the tables have been stored indefinitely in a part of his brain called hippocampus. Every time he needs the multiplication tables, they are always available. So he is already taking advantage of the long-term memory.

Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

a. Install a web application firewall.

Explanation:

In this scenario, an organization is building a new customer services team, and the manager needs to keep the team focused on customer issues and minimize distractions. The users (employees) are provided with a specific set of tools (software applications) installed, which they must use to perform their duties. However, other tools (software applications) are not permitted for compliance and tracking purposes of employees who flouted the rules made by the management. Also, team members are able to access the internet for purposes such as, product lookups and to research customer issues.

In order to keep the team focused on customer issues and minimize distractions, the security engineer should install a web application firewall.

A web application firewall is an application firewall that can be used for monitoring, filtering, blocking or denial of bidirectional packets (http traffics); to and from websites or web applications.

When a web application firewall is properly implemented and configured by the security engineer, it inspects all http traffics and provides adequate protection against cookie poisoning, security misconfigurations, SQL injection, broken authentication, cross-site scripting (XSS), file inclusion, sensitive data leaks, buffer overflow etc.

Basically, the web application firewall primarily prevents an application layer (layer 7 of the OSI model) attacks.

Hence, to fulfil the manager's requirements, the security engineer should install a web application firewall which basically works as a reverse proxy protecting the web server from vulnerabilities or potential attacks.

How can you minimize a bad background? In other words, how can you make less of a bad background show up in the photo?
Aneli [31]
What you want to do is create a shallow depth of field, this is to make your background blur and focus more on the subject. Set a large aperture, which is a low f-number, around f/1.8 or f/2 and then take a few test shots to see if this is what you would like. If you want everything to be focused in frame just do the opposite.

two examples of processes for data collection. What key principles are considered in these processes to ensure data accuracy?
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

Two examples of processes for data collection are:

In-person interviewing: This is a face-to-face method or process of data collection. It has a high rate of response and allows you to ask follow-up questions when the response of the interviewee is not clear.

Sample Surveys: In this method, a sample is selected from a large population and then a questionnaire is constructed and sent to the sample for them to give their feedback or response in line with the research problem.

Three Key Principles considered in these processes to ensure data accuracy are:

Completeness: This means that what was expected to be collected as data was what was collected. Completeness of data is a vital factor for data quality.

Consistency: There must be uniformity in the data collection process. Everyone involved in the data collection process must understand what is required of them.

Accuracy: The data must be free of errors
