<span>The treaty of Versailles sped up the start of WW II because Hitler thought that it had strangled Germany out of all of its resources, such as money, military and its government. Hitler wanted to get his own back on the rest of Europe by taking the appeasement given to him by Britain and France and using it to his advantage and getting around the treaty in one way.</span>
