In words that are comprehensible today, Britain was like, "We have all the power and there's nothing the puny US can do about it!", so the US decided that they would do something.  Something big.  A group of people went under the blanket of the night dressed as Indians so they could not be identified and began dumping crates of tea into the water off the ship.  This sent Great Britain a message; "No taxation without representation!".  However the act was punished by the Intolerable Acts, meant to oppress the Americans and stop the rebellious acts committed by those who fought for their rights and for the freedom of their country.

In Elie Wiesel’s Night, what best describes the narrator’s greatest fear once the SS guard separates he and his father from his
monitta
I would say isolation because Elie and his father are separated from his mother and 2 sisters so that he and his father go to the forced labour camp and his mother and sisters go to the gas chambers though the mother and one sister survive he does not see them again, at least not there. And seeing his father become helpless so that he must become his father's caregiver makes him resentful and then ashamed of his resentment.

which line in the poem London, 1802 by William Wordsworth uses metonymy to refer to art and literature?
alexandr1967 [171]

I believe the correct answer is: "Of stagnant waters: altar, sword, and pen, "

Metonymy is the type of metaphor, figure of speech, which is uses the substitution of the name of an attribute or adjunct for that of the thing meant. In the poem “London” written by William Wordsworth in 1802, the line which uses metonymy to refer to art and literature is the third line: “Of stagnant waters: altar, sword, and pen,” as the pen represents the whole literature in England after Milton’s death.
