Diocletian was a Roman emperor from 284 to 305, who rose from his military achievements and became cavalry commander of the Emperor Carus's army. After the death of the Emperor and his heir, he proclaimed as Emperor of Rome. During his reign, he tried to restore the government. He fixed the prices of goods and wages of laborers. In 285 AD, after ruling the entire Empire with difficulties, he decided to split it into two. The Eastern Roman Empire and the Western Roman Empire formed.
