The Treaty of Versailles limited Germany's military power. The country wasn't allowed to have submarines or an air force. Its army was limited to just 100,000 men and its navy was limited to 6 ships. Germany was also not allowed to place troops in the Rhineland. In addition to these, Germany had to pay £6,600 million for the damage causes.
