Wind<span> abrades rock by sandblasting, this is the process in which wind causes the blowing off millions of grains of sand, which bumps across the surface of rocks' surface. it can also happen due to deflation, which is when wind removes the top layer of fine sediment/soil to cause desert pavement. 
</span>Glaciers, however, abrade rock by simply using Gravity. when enough ice builds up on a slope, the ice begins to move downhill. The steeper the slope, the faster the glacier. As glaciers move forward, the material that they picked up scratch and abrade the rock and soil underneath the glacier, which causes erosion<span>.</span>
