Walking is not the most exciting form of exercise a person can take on for fitness. Yet it is low impact and requires no fancy e

quipment. That makes walking a simple activity for those new to exercise. Walking is less likely than other exercises to cause injury to leg tendons and muscles. All it requires is a good pair of sneakers—no cables, stylish outfits, or weights required. Of course, a person could increase the benefit of a workout by adding weights or speed walking. Which of the following lists represents text evidence pieces that all support the main idea in this paragraph? Walking is fun to do, less likely to cause injury, requires good sneakers. Walking is easy to start, not worth the time for fit people, needs weights. Walking is not exciting, needs weights to make it beneficial, safest exercise. Walking is low impact, requires no fancy equipment, less likely to cause injury.

Hello!

In the question, it's asking you to figure out which piece of evidence from the text supports the main idea of the passage the best.

We know that the passage is talking about walking, so the topic of the paragraph is walking.

The main idea of the passage is that walking is not a very exciting form of exercise a person can do.

Now, since we know what the main idea of the passage, we can answer the question.

Answer: Walking is low impact, requires no fancy equipment, less likely to cause injury.

From all the answer choice, the last answer choice would be the correct answer because it is evidence that is adding on to the idea of walking being a not so exciting form of exercise. This evidence is showing that walking is boring, due to the fact that there is no fancy equipment needed, likeliness of injury is low, and is low impact.

I hope this helps you out

Good luck on your academics

-Jim
