The above statement is objective because it is not influenced by feelings or opinions.

Through “A Modest Proposal” Swift wants to convey his thoughts on the issue that has been plaguing the country. He speaks about the poverty which has plagued the country. He rages on the people who in spite of reducing poverty has given their share in increasing it. He adds that the reason for poverty in Ireland is because of such greedy people.

lubasha [3.4K]

The correct answer is - her concern with a party instead of Mr. Bunbury’s health.

Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being pokes fun at the Victorian society which placed too much importance of irrelevant things. He is using the character of Lady Bracknell to depict this mockery - she is concerned with her party going splendidly instead of worrying about another person's health. The frivolousness of her concern is similar to the general spirit of the Victorian era.

Answer: In Canada, Thanksgiving is always celebrated on the second Monday of October.

Explanation: Remember these two things:

-Proper Noun: A proper noun is a noun that identifies a single entity and is used to refer to that entity, such as London, Jupiter, Sarah, or Microsoft, as distinguished from a common noun, which is a noun that refers to a class of entities and may be used when referring to instances of a specific class.

-Noun: A noun is a word that names something, such as a person, place, thing, or idea. In a sentence, nouns can play the role of subject, direct object, indirect object, subject complement, object complement, appositive, or adjective.

Hope this helped! ;)
