Answer:

False.

Explanation:

Not all deserts located near the equator. While explaining desert, we think of a hot, dry and empty landscape, which does not justify the reason. Some deserts are known for hot during day time while others for their cold winters. Deserts are divide according to their region and are found within the line of Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn like Gobi desert, Sahara, Kalahari etc.

The Midwestern United States is an example of which type of culture region?
inn [45]
The answer is definitely C. The Midwestern United States is an example of a vernacular region. Indeed, the Midwestern has been generally acquainted and explained by both travelers and habitants quite mistakenly (most of them characterize the region as some little town and so on). Moreover, the vernacular element can also be found by paying attention to the emotional charges these people display while talking about the Midwestern (most of them knows everybody in town and they have still ongoing things with some of the city residents).

Warm, dry wind associated with devastating fires in Southern California Another name for a whirlwind; blows dust and sand into a
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer: A.Santa Ana

Explanation:

This description perfectly agrees with the Santa Ana Winds (also called Santana Winds), which are due to a meteorological phenomenon that occurs between southern California and northern Baja California during autum and early winter (although they can also occur in the other seasons of the year). In this sense, strong winds are caused by high air pressure circulating clockwise at high altitudes in the Great Basin between Sierra Nevada and the Rocky Mountains (and the Mojave Desert).

It should be noted that these winds are characteristic of the region, which dry the vegetation, knock down electric utility poles and trees, and sometimes transport hot embers, being the main cause of fire spread.
