In the given question, we can find two co-ordinates :

Y - intercept = ( 0 , - 3 )

X - intercept = ( -4.5 , 0 )

Hence, two co-ordinates are ( 0 , -3 ) and ( -4.5 , 0 )

How do we find slope?

$\frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}$

Now, plug in the values...  

$\frac{0 - (-3)}{-4.5 - 0 }$

$\frac{3}{-4.5}$

$\frac{3}{\frac{45}{10} }$

$3 * \frac{10}{45}$

$\frac{10}{15}$ = $\frac{2}{3}$

Now, we found out the slope, which is $\frac{2}{3}$

What is slope-intercept form ?

Form :- y = mx + b

Where b is the y-intercept and m is the slope..

Plug in the values we have found out :

$y = \frac{2x}{3} - 3$ is the final equation...

Y=-3/4.5-3. You can get this by plotting the points on a graph and using the rise(how far up it goes) over run(how far right) to find the Slope, then plugging in the Y-intercept.
