Biology

At the time of aerobic respiration, the oxygen is taken up by the cells and in combination with glucose generates energy in the form of ATP, and the cell expels water and carbon dioxide. This is an oxidation-reduction reaction in which glucose is oxidized and oxygen is reduced.

In the entire process of oxidation, glucose is losing one or more electrons to oxygen, and in reduction, oxygen is gaining electrons.

Thus, the correct answer is glucose is losing those electrons through oxidation and oxygen gains those electrons through the process of reduction.

The traits for blood type and Rh are the result of the presence or absence of particular on the erythrocytes.g
just olya [345]

Answer: Antigens

Explanation: The ABO system of blood grouping is based on the basis of the type of antigens that are present in the red blood cells. Erythrocytes is another name for the red blood cells. Antigens are molecules that are capable of eliciting immune response. There are two types of antigens: antigen A and B. Blood type A has only antigen A, blood type B has only antigen B, blood type AB has both antigen A and B while blood type O has no antigen (neither A nor B antigen).

Similarly, Rh trait is determined by the presence or absence of rhesus antigen in the erythrocytes. Rhesus antigen is an antigen first discovered in rhesus monkey. Rh+ indicates the presence of rhesus antigen in the red blood cells while Rh- indicates the absence of rhesus antigen in the red blood cells.

The directions for each amino acid in a polypeptide are indicated by a codon that consists of ________ nucleotide(s) in an RNA m
ipn [44]

Answer:

3 nucleotides in an RNA molecule.

Explanation:

Protein synthesis in the cell produced by RIBOSOMES requires a lot of energy and it's has the highest mass in living organisms. Protein synthesis involve the process where Messenger RNA (MRNA) message is converted to a polypeptide product. The transcription in the cell produced messenger RNA. The translation of mRNA template converts nucleotide-based genetic information into a protein product. The protein sequences contain about 20 Ami o acids and each amino acids is defined by three nucleotides sequence which is called triplet codon. The relationship between nucleotides codon And amino acids is called genetic code

An important difference between a series and a parallel circuit is that a series circuit cannot have any breaks. A parallel circ
Yanka [14]

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Parallel circuit are those types of circuits in which break in one branch does not prevent the flow of current in the circuit and the current can still flow through another branch because there are more ways through which the current moves to other sources while on the other hand, series circuit refers to those circuits in which break in one branch can prevent the current flow in the circuit and the other sources can't receive current due to broken of the connection.
