I set out to say, "I study French often, but I prefer to write. I listen to music and sing. I love to dance!" in French. Here's

what I came up with, "J’étudie le français souvent, mais je préfère écrire. J’écoute de la musique et chante. J’aime la danse !" I'm new to the language so I'm a little unsure about the conjugations. For example, if you have more than one verb in a sentence do you conjugate the first one ONLY or BOTH? I thought it would be the latter, which is why my answer is like it is. I appreciate any feedback you may have to offer. Merci !

"J’étudie le français souvent, mais je préfère écrire. J’écoute de la musique et chante. J’aime la danse !

Il est plus correct d'écrire :

-J'étudie souvent le français mais je préfère écrire.
J'écoute de la musique et je chante.
J'aime la danse.

Exemple avec deux verbes :

Les lions sont réveillés mais ils ne bougent pas.
Elle se lève et marche dans le salon.

Did you understand?
