Palenque was a Maya city state and is in the southern region of Mexico. The population of Palenque was medium sized and not too populated.

The population of Palenque was very talented which had expert hands on architecture which was one of the finest architecture of that time, beautiful sculptures and base relief carvings were also worth seeing.

They were also very well known for making roof combs. Thus all of this showed that the population was very talented and had great interest in art.

The people in the southern colonies made a living by mainly agricultural practices. The climate was good for growing crops. Planters used enslaved Africans to grow tobacco and rice. The climate and soil were very good for farming. Many farmers grew more than they needed for their families. They sold extra grain and livestock in the cities. Farmers used the long, wide rivers to ship their goods to other cities. Some other occupations besides farming were- ranching, lumbering, shipping, fishing, trading and iron mining.

Why bells will ring across Canada and elsewhere in November 11(please explain)

On November 11, 2018, churches bells were rung 100 times all across Canada - also all over the world - to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended World War I, also known as <em>"The Great War</em>".

This event did also honor the Canadians soldiers that sacrificed their lives during that conflict that took place between 1914 and 1918.  

The event was named "Bells of Peace".
