what happens when rain falls on a piece of property that has pavement,roofs, and lawns. Where does the water go? Over a long rai

The water would stream down the roof, and since the lawn is porous, water is absorbed into the lawn and pavement, to the ground. Streams overflow and groundwater would rise up for a short period of time and become a spring or it would be at its maximum height

The water is absorbed on pavement. Water rums off the roof on to the ground/ lawn and it works it's way don't to the soil. I'm the lawn some water is absorbed of there's to much it will drown the grass and kill it. Steams fill up and flow south towards the Mississippi River or Ohio river depends where you live. Ground water will run faster but not by a whole lot.
