The writer who wrote a humorous tales about the Gold Rush was Mark Twain, his writing was characterized by his satirical sense of humor and this was the same thing that made him loved among the critics.

Twain wrote a lot of things about the gold rush because it was a time that influenced him in a very personal way, he lived the struggles and changes that all this economic rush gave to America and its citizens.
