History

When imperialistic European powers came into China, they were far behind the now advanced European nations. Great Britain was able to negotiate ownership of Hong Kong and the United States was able to negotiate the Open Door Treaty. The Open Door Treaty allowed for the rest of China to remain sovereign and all other nations to create trade deals. The Chinese people resented the western influence leading to rebellions and riots against western culture, in particular the influence of Christianity. Eventually, this will lead to uprisings causing a change in Chinese government to a nationalist party. This party will ineffectively remove western influence and that will then spark the communist party to rise.

4. What did the Powhatan Indians do for Jamestown?
serg [7]

Answer:

Powhatan agreed to supply the colonists with food.

Explanation:

While it is not known when Powhatan became chief, he was in power when the English who would form the Jamestown settlement arrived in April 1607. In June, Powhatan sent an ambassador to the colony to seek peace. After the harvest, he also allowed food to be delivered, which helped keep the struggling colonists alive.

Hope this helps. :)

inna [77]

Britain and France. The fight started over a land dispute, the British went into french claimed lands, and the french and Indian war is the reason why the British started taxing the colonist, such as the sugar act stamp act, tea act, all these taxes were to pay for the expenses of the war, Britain spent tons of money on this war, and those taxes on the colonies resulted in the revolutionary war
