The right answer is " the death of the Rwandan president ".

In April 1994, Rwandan President Juvénal Habyarimana (a Hutu) was killed in an attack on the plane in which he was traveling. The next day, the genocide began. Without presenting evidence, Hutu leaders accused the Tutsis of the assassination of the president and urged the population to begin the killing. Hours later, Hutus militias have advanced into villages and towns across the country, killing everything they saw ahead. Control stations were established in the streets. Persons identified as members of the Tutsi minority were summarily executed.

Why do you think the author said that the book is “least of all an adventure”?
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

It talks about the cruelty of wars.

Explanation:

 • The author said that the book is "least of all an adventure" because it talks about the cruelty of wars unlike other books that talks about the heroic experience of soldiers and armies.
 • In this book, the author writes about the dreadfulness of death and war from the eyes of the soldiers. The reference of the statement “death is not an adventure to those who stand face to face with it” in the book reminds us that the experiences of the soldiers were more than just adventure. It was shattering, horrifying and daunting.
