Why did anti federalists believe that the constitution was a threat to liberty?

Answer:

Because the US Constitution created a strong central government and did not provide for specific protections of people's liberties.

Explanation:

The Anti-Federalists constituted a political coalition that emerged during the debates to ratify the Constitution. They were the group that firmly refused to its ratification believing that it gave too much power to the central government and did not specifically protect individual rights and, therefore, was a threat to liberty. The Anti-Federalists, instead, insisted on the adding of a Bill of Rights that specifically guaranteed basic individual liberties such as the right to express, to due process, to have a fair trial, among others.

Describe the opposing points of view expressed about federalism in the early years of the united states 1776-1862
slega [8]
Federalism often refers to the beliefs of the Federalist party. This political party believed that the United States needed a strong federal (aka central) government in order for society to run well. This was based of several different factors including the lack of success of the Articles of Confederation (which had created a weak central government) and Shay's Rebellion.

On the other hand, people against the idea of federalism were worried that the federal government would gain too much power. Instead, they preferred for state governments to have a majority of the power. They used the American Revolution as their reasoning as to why a strong central government would not work well in America.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although you did not attach the name of the video or the link to the video, we can comment on the following general terms.

The conditions that allowed our ancestors to survive were their capacity to endure dry climates in the south part of Africa, their capacity to walk upright to walk long distances, their arms and hands to climb trees to get fruits and escape from big animals. Another condition that allowed our ancestors to survive was the evolution of the brain capacities that allow them to use basic tools.

Our Homo Spaines ancestors evolved from other types of humanoids 250,000 years ago.
