A <em>Midsummer Night's Dream</em> is a comedy by William Shakespeare in 1595/96. Is basically about the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, to Hippolyta. The first time they use magic is shown in Act II, where entering in the woods is a dream-like change in perception, a change which affects both the characters and the audience. Dreams here take priority over reason, and are truer than the reality they seek to interpret and transform.
