Declaring a nation independence depicts they are grown to handle their own affairs without supervision. They pull out from the colonial master to stand on their own feet handling governance by themselves.

Independence is necessary just as letting a grown man get his own house and start a family. By so doing he will become more strong to face life squarely without relying or continuing been a baby.
