A = 70 m²

70 = $\frac{1}{2}$ × b × 8.75
70 = 4.375b
Divide by 4.375 on either sides to isolate b
$\frac{70}{4.375} = \frac{4.375b}{4.375}$
4.375 and 4.375 cancels out

16 m = b

The base of this triangle is 16 m
