Review the passage from "If Anne Frank Only Knew." That diary, of her life in hiding during World War II, is now being studied i
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

The author feels that the North Koreans are twisting the diary's message to suit theirs.

Explanation:

If Anne Frank Only Knew was written by Rebecca Leung and it talks about a Dutch television crew that went to North Korea. The excerpt belongs to the third paragraph, and the one after that mentions that people from North Korea are not learning about peace and freedom, but how they can suffer at the hands of so called "American nazis." Due to this, the correct answer is the last option.

The average of integers a and b is 12. if c = 3, what is the average of integers a, b, and c ?
Anni [7]

You know that the sum of a and b is 24, because the average is the sum of the numbers divided by the amount of numbers added together, and 12*2 is 24. Add 3 to 24 so you have 27, and then divide that by 3 because there are now 3 numbers in the set. The average of a, b, and c is 9.

In the book 1984 describe how and why political prisoners are treated differently from common criminals
lozanna [386]

In the book, _1984_, which was written by George Orwell, political prisoners are treated differently from common criminals insomuch as that they are tortured, not fed well, and given undesirable jobs.  This is so because political prisoners are deemed to be more of a threat against The Party than a common criminal.  A political prisoner who speaks out against The Party plays more of a threat at undermining The Party’s rule than a shoplifter, for instance.  As such, they are treated poorly in comparison to the common criminal prisoners.
