Why haven't Europeans used Maritime routes before the age of exploration?

History
2 answers:

The correct answer is 2. They didn't have the ships and navigation skills to travel around Africa to Asia.

The Age of Exploration was only possible as a result of new technology, that is, the inventions of new ships such as caravels or the extensive research of navigation by individuals like Prince Henry the Navigator. These two factors allowed explorers to count on further reliable means of transportation and a better understanding of the geography as well as conditions they would face during their expeditions.

The Europeans have gone to all the places on Earth by ship, to trade and navigate but they had not used the Maritime routes before the age of exploration because of two reasons first they are weak in front of the Muslim forces controlling Portugal and Spain as it was a gateway to the trade market and could not with hold the Muslims there and the second they                       don't have much equipment and ships to travel from Asia to Africa that time.

How did the tarrif of 1816 influence sectional interest within the united states
damaskus [11]

Answer:

c. the tariff protected industries in the North from foreign competition

Explanation:

The tariff of 1816 was implemented in order to serve as a measure of protection for the industries in the North. While this was good for the industries in the North, it was a measure that was sectional, and it neglected the interest of the South. The South actually suffered and was recording losses because of the tariff, as it made its agricultural goods less competitive on the market by having higher prices. This led to lot of tensions and disagreements about the tariff between the North and the South.

Mali is founded by Sundiata in 1235, after the decline and the collapse of Ghana. West Africa remained under Mali control for centuries. Then the Songhai rose to power.

Songhai is founded by Sunni Ali and defeated the Malis, but later got conquered by Moroccans who had guns against the African bows.

Muhammad Askia is the one who made Songhai a state rather than just a tribal kingdom.
