The correct answer is the Compromise of 1850.

The Compromise of 1850 temporarily solved the issue of slavery in the new territories gained in the Mexican Cession. The compromise stated that the territory of California would become a free state and the Utah and New Mexico territories would use popular sovereignty to decide on the issue of slavery. Popular sovereignty is a concept that revolves around the people of that territory voting on whther or not they wanted slavery.

6. (PLEASE HELP) Who was Emperor Justinian's most trusted advisor?
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

Justinian I is traditionally known as Justinian the Great. he was a Byzantine ( East Roman ) emperor from 525 to 565. He was always choosing efficient but unpopular advisors. His most trusted advisor was his wife Theodora.

Theodora was one of the most influential and powerful of the Byzantine empresses. Some sources mention her as not only the emperor`s advisor but also a leader during the Nika riots in 532.

Historian Procopius was very bitter towards the empress Theodora  in his "Secret history".
