To meet the needs of these two bodies, they have the power to remove the President. If the first person in the United States receives a bribe, acts against the constitution and violates the interests of the country, these two state bodies can initiate dismissal. This process is called <em>impeachment</em>, and the President is accused by the House of Representatives and is being tried by the Senate. In such circumstances, the Vice President assumes the office of the first man of the country.
