This is False.

Each note card should feature a single idea, so as not to have ideas mix up and ultimately confuse the researcher, and in turn the readers of such a research.

Keith_Richards [23]

For me, cultural diversity determines a country's identity. It gives color and substance to what a country is made of and what its people embody. This applies to the works of the people in society like literature. The American identity is fluid over time since it depends on technology and the latest trends. People have to adapt. However, some deep roots would still remain as it is.

Cultural identity is the sense of belonging and the country's perception as evidenced by its religion, ethnicity and social class.

The American society is composed of an ethnical mix, with members of many nations which blend into one unique American identity, while keeping their authenticity. This authenticity can be seen clearly in the cultural diversity. Just like any other identity, American is fluid over time. It changes and alters, in accordance with societal changes. Identities are not carved in stone. While we have every right to actively participate in the process of fashioning our identities, they still have a relative autonomy, and change over time. For example, if I am an Italian immigrant who lives in the U.S., I still have every right to claim my Italian cultural inheritance, but it doesn't make me less of an American. By living in America, I am adopting new cultural traits. My children will have their own perception of their cultural identity that doesn't have to be the same as mine.

Cultural identity is the identity of belonging to a group. It is part of a person's self-conception and self-perception and is related to nationality, ethnicity, religion, social class, generation, locality or any kind of social group that has its own distinct culture
