How did the system of sharecropping affect landowners and laborers in the South?
kati45 [8]

Answer:

The Answer is 100% C. The system often trapped laborers in a cycle of debt and dependence while allowing landowners to profit from laborers’ hard work.

Explanation:

Sharecropping involved the "sharing" of land and crops. Former slaves would work the owner's fields and keep a portion of the crops to sell and eat themselves. Although this sounded fair, former slaves were often trapped in the debt and could not leave until the mountain of debt was paid. The owners were still profiting from slavery, just without the title.

PLEASE HELP!!! Columbus, Puritan, and Native American perspectives (99 points)
Aneli [31]

The explorer Christopher Columbus made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain: in 1492, 1493, 1498, and 1502. He was determined to find a direct water route west from Europe to Asia, but he never did. Instead, he stumbled upon the Americas. Though he did not really “discover” the New World—millions of people already lived there—his journeys marked the beginning of centuries of exploration and colonization of North and South America.

The Puritans truly believed that if they honored God, their colony would be blessed and succeed, and if they failed to honor God, their colony would be punished. This obsession with honoring God made American Puritanism a very strict, severe religious movement

Native Americans resisted the efforts of the Europeans to gain more land and control during the colonial period, but they struggled to do so against a sea of problems, including new diseases, the slave trade, and an ever-growing European population

Write a short story including a traditional and command market. It doesn’t have to be long.
MariettaO [177]

Jeff lives in a third-world country (Mexico). He is under a traditional economy. He likes to keep it simple, he doesn't get as much profit or surplus as he would in a different type of economy. However, Jeff is very socially satisfied and has a pronounced role in the economy. But, the other day he broke his leg and wasn't able to access doctors through technology, or even have access to Western Medicine. On the other hand, Jenna lives in North Korea. There the government controls everything like resouces, the factories, and equipment. Jenna almost never experiences enemployment as the government provides a steady flow of them. But, this whole process sometimes causes protests in her country, which the government then has to control. Both economies have advantages and disadvantages, Jeff and Jenna are pen pals.
