What is an Unimpressed  Tone  of the story house taken over?

Answer:

Cortazar relates the story of two siblings finding intruders in their house and deciding to leave the taken areas to them, as they keep taking more and more rooms. The characters, despite the horrible situation, remain calm and talk as if it wasn´t such a big deal.

Explanation:

An unimpressed tone refers to the display of a bizarre event as normal.

Example: "The cleaning was so much simplified that, even when we got up late, nine-thirty for instance, by eleven we were sitting around with our arms folded."

After driving for sixteen hours, the couple finally arrives home. Breathing a sigh of relief
Misha Larkins [42]

We use allusions everyday, an allusion is a reference to a person, place, thing, or idea wich characterize for having ceirtain cultural significance. That means, they are known by some or great part of the society. In this way, the audience can relate to the idea and figure out the meaning of the message received.

In this case, the family is making reference to famous movie, "The Wizard of Oz". Dorothy (the main character) finally finds out how to get back home, she only needs to say and think "there's no place like home" and click her heels together three times. So the family, after a long journey finally gets the chance to return home back to normality.
