As mass increases, what is the effect on the star’s temperature?

Biology

Answer: As the mass of star increases, the temperature and luminosity also increases.

Explanation:

This can be described in what happens in main sequence star( example, the Sun), which is powered by fusion of hydrogen into helium in its core. Main sequence star exhibit a common characteristic which is hydrostatic equilibrium. This means, the inward force of gravity, which tends to compress the star, is balanced by the outward force due to the pressure. Thus when an extra mass such as hydrogen is added to its core, there will be increase in mass which leads to a higher compression. This in turn will lead to central density and temperature. As the temperature increases, fusion of gases occurs faster resulting to a much higher luminosity. I hope this helps, thanks.

If methylene blue dye is added to a suspension of yeast cells, any living cells
GenaCL600 [577]

The correct option is that the higher the temperature of Y the more colorless cells it contains and is denoted as option B.

What is Temperature?

This us defined as the degree of hotness or coldness of a body and is dependent on thermal energy.

High temperature will denature yeast as a result of its rich protein content and increasing the temperature will therefore leads to the presence of more colorless cells in Y which are able to act on it.
