Which line from White Fang is most likely to change a prediction that White Fang will learn to appreciate the humans?
katovenus [111]

Answer:

B). "He came to know that men were more just... and women more kindly."

Explanation:

The line 'He came...kindly' most likely alters the prediction that White Fang will learn to admire or appreciate the humans as it displays that he got to know about the cruel and inhumane side of the humans. The other options suggests that 'he came to know about the ways of man-aniimals and their godliness , he began to learn their ways or wishes and the power they displayed to enforce that wish and thus, he felt he must show obedience to them.' Thus, option B is the correct answer.

Will give brainliest! Please help me :) 10 pts
tia_tia [17]

Answer:

Stevenson is saying that when we take a bird’s-eye view, we see everything in a grand perspective. From there, much of what we humans do seems trivial or unimportant. We feel aloof from the rest of humanity, much as Apollo felt when he looked down on humans from atop Mount Olympus. Stevenson likens the man’s Apollo-like view to the pleasure he found in the northern Scottish landscape.

Stevenson used the allusion to Apollo to say that when we look at our experiences from a new perspective, we find unexpected pleasure and experience personal growth. He assumes his readers will be familiar with Apollo and the allusion to him will help them understand his new view of this landscape.
