Answer:

The sclerotome that gives rise to the centrum.

Explanation:

During embryological development the embryonic structure that gives to centrum is the sclerotome arise from the paraxial mesoderm. Cells of the sclerotome move to surround the spinal cord and notochord medially to form the mesenchymal column.

The cells of the sclerotome move in 3 directions :

-The caudal part and the cranial part of sclerotome forms densely packed cells and loosely packed cells respectively.

-Some of the thickly packed cells move opposite the center myotome and give rise to the intervertebral disk .

-The rest cells fuse with the remaining cells of the sclerotome to form the mesenchymal centrum of the vertebra.

A vertebrate-animal embryo gives rise to the centrum. The centrum is a bone that is part of the vertebral column. It is the hollow space within the vertebra that protects and contains the spinal cord. Within this hollow area are several nerves that send impulses to the brain enabling the organism to function and be at its homeostasis.

If an organism has high biological fitness in one environment, does that mean that it would also have high biological fitness in
Marina86 [1]

The answer is no, high biological fitness in one environment doesn’t have to be high in another environment.

Biological fitness is a term used in evolutionary biology and it is the quantitative representation of how a genotype (or phenotype) is successful (reproductively) in a certain environment. Fitness depends on environment so it changes if the environment changes. The fitness of a genotype is manifested through its phenotype, which is affected by the environment.
