Gender is an example of Nominal qualitative data as in this data, values represent discrete units and are used to label variables, that have no quantitative value. Nominal data that has no order.

Therefore if we would change the order of its values, the meaning would not change. Nominal data is a sub-type of nominal scale with only two categories (e.g. male/female) is called "dichotomous". And Qualitative data describes whereas quantitative data defines.

Therefore, Gender is an example of Nominal Qualitative data.

In the circle shown, AB is tangent to circle o at point and OC is a radius
Vlada [557]

Answer:

A. \overline{OC} \perp \overline{AB}

Step-by-step explanation:

According to tangent theorem, a tangent is formed when the radius of a circle is perpendicular to the line, meeting at a point around the circle, such that the tangent line would be perpendicular to the radius of the circle with a center.

Given that \overline{AB} is a tangent of the circle O, at a point C, and \overline{OC} is a radius, therefore, it follows that:

\overline{OC} \perp \overline{AB}.

This means the radius of the circle is perpendicular to the tangent formed at point C.
